    • RE: Which interval is F3 to G3?

Major 2 is not the second note in the c major scale like you thought.

      You did: C = 1, D =2, E =3,....

What you should do is: what is majot second of F
Count one whole tone to F = G
If you go from F to F# its only semitone = minor second

I don't get the chord progression explanation. Because they tell me about grades and stuff, what I already figured out in previous lessons. And once i start the test they play 5 chords and i have figure out which one by listening. I don't know how the explanation can help me figure out how they sound

    • RE: Difference between sharp and flat?

I use it for music reading. Sharp is upward, flat is downward. So if I use for ex. C# then the previous note is before C#. If I use Cflat then the previous note is after Cflat. Its for reading the flow of your music piece

    • RE: Play the perfect prime (P1) of G3

      Perfect prime = the same note ex. P1 of c = c

      P1 of d = d,....
      Major second = one whole step ex. M1 of c = d, d = e, e = f#
      Minor second = half step ex. m1 of c = c#, c# =d,...

Watch out with B,C,E,F because these have a half step and not a whole.
