        C major and F major are scales (or can also refer to a chord) but the question is about the perfect prime interval. I suggest reading about it in the wikipedia inside the app. You can also rewatch the video about the subject there.

          Major 2 is not the second note in the c major scale like you thought. 

          You did: C = 1, D =2, E =3,....

          What you should do is: what is majot second of F 
          Count one whole tone to F = G
          If you go from F to F# its only semitone = minor second
